The German Research Foundation (DFG) is establishing the new Research Training Group RTG 2873 "Tools and Agents of the Future - Innovative Methods and New Modalities in Medicinal Chemistry" at the University of Bonn.

Initiator and spokesperson of the RTG is Prof. Dr. Christa E. Müller. The aim of the RTG is to modernize medicinal chemistry and to train a new generation of medicinal chemists and researchers at the interface with related disciplines. In addition, the projects should contribute to the development of new drugs. The funding amounts to almost 6.3 million euros over five years.
